I get an error when i try to switch from "classic mail" over to Yahoo "new" mail

When i try to switch from "mail classic" to the new yahoo mail, i get the following two errors:

Yahoo! Mail experienced a login error

name:TypeError

message:Object expected

number:-2146823281

description:Object expected

then I hit the OK button twice and and I get this error:

Unable to load mail javascript files.

Does anyone know why this is happening? What can i do to fix the problem? My operating system is Windows XP.

PC needs the disk storage to handle it. Also javascript is disabled on browser.
