i know its possible, but i dont know how. in yahoo mail beta, when you click on contacts a small window will apear with your online messenger contacts...from this point you can chat with them, even if your it department has blocked chat(messenger.yahoo.com, online messenger pages, and messenger install).
can anyone tell me how can i do this?

Yahoo Messenger is indeed being "rolled-out" as part of their beta mail program. It is gradually appearing in people's mal accounts -- just not all at once. It showed up in my wife's mail on Thursday, but I am still waiting. Be patient, and soon we will all have it! :)
