i have DVD copy 5 platinum and I can save my DVD's to the computer but I want to be able to send pieces of my homeade videos to friends and family using something universal like windows media player. Do I need to save the DVD's as mpeg's? There are a million ways to save them with this software i just want to be able to e-mail them. Please help me

Your best bet would be to create MPEGs.That gives you ONE file to transfer and is almost universally playable.
