Html form sent via e-mail?

I have made a html form and when someone fills it in it sends it to my e-mail address.

But the problem is that it brings up a window that says ur information is being sent by e-mail and then trys to open outlook.

howmcan i make it so it doesnt say all the stuff about e-mail address and just send the information straight to my e-mail account.

I done it about 6 months ago and havent had to do it since but now i need to do it i cant remeber exactly

If you use the mailto command as your form's action, IE will make this warning. There's nothing you can do about it except change how you send the mail.

Pay them $12 per year and they will take care of e-mailing things from your form to you.

Before I could answer your question I need the info from you

1. which scripting you use to send the form to email (PHP/ASP and so on)

2. Where your html form page is hosted and which platform ( windows/unix)
it sounds to me like you are having the user send you an email message but what you really want is to submit the info they filled in to your server (via POST) and then have YOUR server send you the email. If you have the user send the email with their account then it will tell them and try to open their default mail application in this case outlook. so make your form a submit form using post as the method. I assume you currently have something like

%26lt;a href= "mailto:youremail @ wrong.way"%26gt;

%26lt;img src="mybuttonpic"%26gt; %26lt;/a%26gt;

change it to %26lt;input type="submit" value="Submit Form"%26gt;

hope this helps :)
